Recently, diabetes has taken that "smaller" role in my life. The lack of blog posts would reflect this. As I thought about this last night I began to thing of all the things I am, other than a diabetic.
I am a daughter, sister, niece, granddaughter.
I am a friend, god-mother, co-worker.
I am a Christian.
I am a teacher.
I am a reader, a writer.
I am a knitter, a scrapbooker.
I am a computer junkie.
I am a musical lover.
I am a music lover.
I am a lousy housekeeper.
I am a photographer.
I am a cake decorator.
I am dramatic.
I am crazy.
I am shy and out-going.
I am stubborn.
I am a lover of theater.
I am a dreamer.
I am so many things, other than a diabetic. Yet diabetes is part of everything that I am.

What a great posts!!!! A knitter? A knitter!!! Me too. Are you on Ravelry?
You are so many different, interesting things & a very special person.
BTW - My husband thought the Harley Davidson cake was cool!
Karen, I am just a beginning knitter. So far I can knit and purl. :) I am learning though. I haven't really tried any patterns out yet because I want to be sure I have the beginnings down. :)
What's Ravelry?
Donna, I thought you and your husband might enjoy that cake. (With the motorcycles and all) That's why I picked that one to put up (also, it's one of my favorites that I have done).
