Storms in Tennessee

Some of you have already been asking if I am okay. Just wanted to let you know that my town escaped the worst of the storms. We just got some wind and bad thunderstorms. However, there are several other communities that I have friends in that got hit pretty hard. So far, I don't know any of the people who have died.
I have also sent out a message on my TuDiabetes.com group, TNDiabetics, asking that people let us know they are okay and let us know if they need anything.
Thank you so much for your concern. I will try to post more today if I can. I just wanted to let you all know that I am fine.
Keep all these areas that were hit, here and in other states, in your prayers! We are going to need them.

Thank goodness! Please keep us updated. I hope only positive news comes from your TuDiabetes group and from everyone you know in the area.

We're fine here, too, Cara. Thanks for checking in with us and I'm glad to hear that you escaped the mayhem. Hope your friends are all well.

Oh it looked just horrible on the news!
Every few years we have a round of bad tornadoes here. It's amazing the amouht of damage they can do.
Glad you are safe.

Glad to hear that your ok!
Let us know if you are aware of any diabetics that were hit and need supplies. I'm sure that as an online community we could muster up supplies for those in need.

Thanks for all your concern guys!
Kelly, I am still waiting to hear from one lady that is on the TuDiabetes community. She lives in Jackson, which was the hardest hit area. I haven't heard anything yet, although I'm hoping is simply due to power outages. But if she says she needs anything, I will let everyone know! :)
We are a strong community!
